Not sure if any of you remember or saw the old SNL skits talking about Bill Brasky, but today we were talking about them at work so i decided to put up a skit because they are great. The skit includes a few guys sitting around drinking recalling past instances that include Bill Brasky.
First Friend of Brasky: Bill Brasky is a son of a bitch! Do you fellas know Bill Brasky?
Second Friend of Brasky: Hell yeah, I know Bill Brasky! He’s a big fella, goes about 6′4″, 280. He loves his Scotch!
Third Friend of Brasky: He does! He’s a hell of a salesman!
Fourth Friend of Brasky: To Bill Brasky!
Together: Bill Brasky!!
Third: Did you know Bill Brasky is the godfather of my son?
Fourth: Bill Brasky?
First: He’s a big fella!
Second: Oh yeah, he’s a big guy! Goes about 6′7″, 385.
Third: Well, anyway.. he shows up at the church in his golf pants, caked in mud. Well, ol’ Bill Brasky pushes the priest aside and says, “I’ll baptize that piece of calamari!” Then he pours Scotch all over my baby son and says, “There! You’re baptized!”
Fourth: And your son is blind to this day!
First: Yeah, he makes brooms somewhere in Georgia, doesn’t he?
Third: I have no idea. [ pause ] To Bill Brasky!
Together: Bill Brasky!!
Second: Did I ever tell you about the time Bill Brasky sold me into slavery?
First: Well, if you’re talking about Bill Brasky, I believe it!
Second: Oh, yeah! He puts me on a ship to Thailand, right? And I’m chained to a pipe. Meanwhile, ol’ Brasky, he’s back in the States siring three beautiful children with my wife!
First: I hate Bill Brasky.. but I respect him!
Guy At Bar: Are you talking about Bill Brasky? I know Bill Brasky!
First: Then let me buy you a round!

Fourth: Did I ever tell you about the time Bill Brasky showed up at my daughter’s wedding? You know my daughter; she’s a beautiful girl.

Third: Goes about 7′8″, 530.
Fourth: Well, he’s standing right between me and my daughter at the ceremony. He’s got no right to be there, but he’s drunk and he’s Brasky! Well, long story short: the priest accidentally marries Brasky and me! [ the guys laugh ] Off! Off! Off! We spend the weekend in the Pocono’s - he loves me like I’ve never been loved before!
Second: Best damn salesman in the office!
Together: Bill Brasky!!
Third: You know how Brasky served three tours in ‘Nam?
Fourth: Uh-huh!
Third: Well, I’m in Corpus Christi on business a month ago, and I had this eight-foot tall Asian waiter.. which made me a little curious, so I asked him his name, and sure enough it’s Ho Tran Brasky!
First: To William Robert Brasky!
Second: Oh, yeah!
Fourth: Hey, you ever go camping with Brasky?
Third: Many times.
First: I went camping with Brasky, his wife, and his daughter Debbie!
Third: Debbie Brasky?
First: Debbie Brasky. She’s 7-years-old, goes about 3′5″, 55 pounds. So, I’m in the back of a pickup with Bill Brasky and a live deer! Well, Brasky, he grabs the deer by the antlers, looks at it and says, “I’m Bill Brasky! Say it!” Then he squeezes the deer in such a way that a sound comes out of its mouth - “Billbrasky!” It wasn’t exactly it, but it was pretty good for a deer!
Third: That’s Bill Brasky!

Fourth: I once saw him eat a whole live chicken.
First: His favorite movie is “One on One” with Robby Benson.
Fourth: Bill Brasky once gave me a videotape of him having sex with my wife, and it was the most beautiful damn thing I ever saw!

Guy At Bar: [ turning around ] So do I!
Third: To Bill Brasky! A ten-foot-tall, two-ton son of a bitch who could eat a hammer and take a shotgun blast standing!

Big Booming Voice: [ from extremely tall figure in upper camera angle ] Did someone say Bill Brasky?

Build - A - Bear(Fredbird)
Here is a picture of the Fredbird that me and Erin built at the new Busch Stadium. I’ll just say Build-A-Bear is making a ton of money at the new Stadium with this idea. The Fredbird that we made plays ‘Take me out to the Ball game”.
Maybe one day the Cubbies will get a Build-A-Bear(small bear) at or near their stadium. I think that would be a huge gold mine for Build-A-Bear too.
I need a Vacation
ast night I was sitting around thinking I need a vacation. The sad thing is that I don’t have one planned for this year. I haven’t planned one because Erin will be graduating in May and we werent sure if she would be able to go anywhere because she will probably just have started her new job.
So i have all this vacation time and nothing to do with it. What to do, what to do.

Pujols on a Tear!
Albert Pujols is on a tear. He recently had 4 consecutive at bats for HR’s. Pretty amazing what this young kid has done his 5 years in the Majors. Hell the kid is only 26 years old. He’s on pace to break record after record. It’s simple amazing what he is accomplishing.

My first Game at Busch
It was awesome last night. To begin with we had pretty damn good seats. We were section 139 like row 30 or something. Not to shabby huh? Well right before the game started me and Josh decided to walk down by the field just to get a closer look. Right when we got down to the field sure enough David Eckstein came over and started signing autographs right where we were standing. I looked at Josh and said we dont have anything to sign or a pen. He was like get your ticket out. So i stuck my ticket out there for him to sign. I didnt think he would ever get to it but he finally did. Josh also got his signed.
So we went back to our seats after that and bragged a little bit to the other guys. Then we were sitting there and we saw a bunch of open seats down low in one certain area so we walked down there and sat in them about 8 or 10 rows up. We sat there a little bit but finally got kicked out. So we call the other guys we were with and they moved down to row 3 right next to the Cardinals dugout. I ask them if there are anymore seats by them and they said yes. So we went and sat by them in about the 3rd inning or so and we stayed in those seats the whole game. Third row - right next to the Cardinals dugout. I don’t think it gets much better than that.
Oh yeah I forgot to bring my camera too.

The boys of Summer.
Cards started their season with a bang yesterday with a 13-5 victory over the Phillies. The bats were hot as Pujols hit 2 HR and Rolen hit a grand slam. Pujols Slugging % is a perfect 4,000.
This weekend I will be attending the Open House at the new Busch Stadium. I will post pictures soon after. I wish they would let us down in the locker rooms for the open house but I guess they are saving that for the Tours.
