Media Center PC
This past weekend I decided that I would get Windows Media Center up and running. The first issue I had was running cable to the room where the computer was. So I went to the basement and figured out what i needed to do. Went to Wal-Mart and bought 50 foot of Cable. Then ran the cable to where the computer was. I then had to drill a hole in the floor to bring the cable up to the main floor. Couldn’t find a drill bit big enough for the cable to fit through so i had to grind out the edges with the drill bit. I finally got it. Next I need to install the TV Tuner in the computer.
Imagine that, a computer that came with Windows Media Center on it, didn’t already have a tv tuner in it. YOu would think it would, but nope. Luckily my work had a few laying around and gave them away for free. Got it installed and then realized I couldn’t find the driver for the tv tuner anywhere. Luckily a guy at work has the driver and I am going to get it today. I also trying to find a remote (we have a few of them around at work too).
No wonder White Sox are the World Series Champions
The White Sox are owning the Cardinals right now. First game it was like 20-6. Last nights game was 13-5. Hopefully tonight we can get at least one game from them. Reyes is being brought up to pitch tonight. Hopefully he can do a little better than the last two starters(Mulder and Marquis). Man that was sad.
Oh yeah how are the Cubbies and their ace pitchers(Prior and Wood) doing? When i feel bad about the Cardinals or they start slumping then I just think about the lowly Cubbies and it makes me feel better. I always think it could be worse, I could be a Cub fan. lol.

On a roll
Went to the Cardinals game on Saturday. It was a great day at the park. Not to hot, not to cold. Just about perfect, except I was dead tired. The Cards are 4-0 on days that I have attended this year. Soon they will be paying me to attend games. lol. Added more pictures to the Photo Gallery from the game.

Wild Wings
Im pretty excited that a Buffalo Wild Wings just opened up just a block from my work. I have only been to this place a few times when on vacation or visiting friends in Chicago. Today we went there for lunch. We have been going every once in awhile to watch some World Cup or baseball games. I need some suggestions as to what to get at Buffalo Wild Wings. Today I got regular wings with the HOT sauce. The hot was pretty intense today and I could only eat like 4 wings. I didn’t like it that hot and plus they were really messy. The sauce was caked on there. Im not a big fan of the vinegar based hot sauces. Someone give me some suggestions as to what they like there and what sauces to go with.

Summer Break
I just tried to post this long story on here about how I wish i had summers off like teachers do. But when I submitted it I lost the whole thing.
Anyway in short - The summers really suck for me. Everyday I wish I was a teacher or something so i could have the whole day off and enjoy the nice weather, but nope im stuck in the office. It’s hard for me to go back to work after lunch. Im always saying to myself that I will ask my boss to give me summers off (with pay of course). lol. Yeah Right. Some colleges around here only require that a professor have a master degree. Soon I will have one and maybe I’ll look into it (probably not though). I never really saw myself being a teacher or anything, but I think having the summers off might be worth it. Who wants to join me, maybey we can start up our own University?

Bonsai
For some reason I have really been fascinated by Bonsai Trees. I’m not sure what it is about them but I really enjoy looking at them and trying to create my own. Last year I bought my first tree. This weekend I went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens and they were having a Bonsai Show and Sale. Some of these trees were 70 years old. I now own a few other bonsai trees and have begun shaping the one into what i hope will be a great tree. Only time will tell. I will soon post some pictures of my tree for you all to see (the one above is not my tree).
