Weekend Activities

Posted in Uncategorized at 9:07 am by Administrator

Had a pretty good weekend.

1.  Met my college buddies at our old school (ISU).  Went golfing and then ate at Alexanders Steakhouse.  This steakhouse was pretty unique in that you cook your own food.  Then went to Mulligans and had a few Long Island Ice Tea’s.  Good time was had by all even though I golfed like crap.  I had some good shots here and there but overall it was a trainwreck.  I’m very inconsistent.

2.  On Sunday went boating with Jeremy and Jen.  Went out on the river in Grafton and went boating and tried out their new waverunner.  Waverunners are such a blast.  I’m considering buying one sometime in the future.

3.  Got news that some people accepted our offer to buy their house.  I’m really excited about this place and I will get pictures on asap.

7. You sleep more at work than at home.
8. You leave for a party and instinctively take your ID badge.
9. Your Day Timer exploded a week ago.
10. You think about how relaxing it would be if you were in jail right now.

Top Places I need to visit soon

Posted in Uncategorized at 2:56 pm by Administrator

1.  San Diego, CA  — I want to plan a trip sometime this year to visit my buddy Kit.

2.  Jacksonville, FL – Some may know that my brother lives there and I have not been in a long time.

3.  Door County, WI — A buddy of mine has a cabin right on Lake Michigan.  Always a good time.

4.  Steelville, MO — I have really been wanting to go on a Float trip.  Plans may be in the works.

5.  Lake of the Ozarks, MO — A first time visit to the Party Cove.

6.  Normal, IL — This trip is already planned out.  Will be golfing and hanging out with some buddies from my college years at ISU.  We did this trip last year and fun was had by all.  This year we have a couple more people joining in on the fun.

7.  Las Vegas, NV — It’s been awhile now since I have been here.  I love this city.

8.  National Parks out West or Some Ski resort- Have always wanted to do a trip out West to visit some of our National Parks.  Would also like to make this into a ski trip (snowboarding).

9.  Hawaii — Planning a wedding here sometime in July 2007.  I have always wanted to visit and hell who knows i might just stay there.

As you can see i have a long list of places that I need to visit.  Finding time and money is just the problem.  Hopefully I can get to a few of these places within a year.

Lake of the Ozarks

Posted in Uncategorized at 12:11 pm by Administrator

This past weekend I visited Lake of the Ozarks. I hadn’t been there since I was probably like a freshman in high school or younger. Went out on the Lake on Saturday. We rented a pontoon boat and a tube. This also marked my first trip to the Party Cove. If you don’t know what this is, it is a lot like Mardi Gras except that everyone is on boats and in the water. All the boats tie up to each other and form a street like “Gaunlet”. Then people drive their boats through the middle of this “street” and people throw beads and what not, just like Mardi Gras. It was pretty wild and a mess to get out of. There were tons of boats and people everywhere.

Fireworks

Posted in Pics at 10:26 pm by Administrator

Just added a gallery for pictures I took last night at the local fireworks show.  The pictures didn’t turn out like I would have wanted and I thought they were all going to be bad, but I think there are some very interesting and neat pictures.  Check them out here.
