Honeymoon
We made it back from our honeymoon alive. We went to Stingray City in the Caymen Islands and we survived without getting speared by a stingray. Erin was scared before this excursion even started. Ever since the Steve Irwin incident she has been scared to do it and said she would just stay on the boat and let me do the excursion. I have to say she sucked it up and jumped in with them, even though she was looking every direction for them. It was a great experience and she is glad she got in with them. We also did a dolphin encounter in Roatan Island, Honduras. It was pretty awesome. I wish we could have went for a ride on the fin but they didn’t allow that at this place.
In Belize we did a Cave Tubing Excursion. This included a 45 minute hike through the Rainforest. In the rainforest on our way to the river we say a tarantula in a little whole in the ground. It was kinda neat and i wanted to get a picture but he went down into his hole and we could only see some legs and part of the body. Once we got to the river we jumped onto our tubes and just floated down the river though the caves. These caves are really long and they are pitch black. Luckily they gave us little head lamps, but it was still darker than shite. They said the water was as deep as 35 feet in some parts of those caves. It’s kinda freaky not seeing anything in the water like that, especially in Belize which is known for its crocodiles, plus we were in the middle of the rainforest. After the cave ended we just floated down the river to the ending point.
I have to say that all three excursion were very different for me and I had a great time on all of them. The other stop we went to was Costa Maya, Mexico. Here we didn’t do any excursions, we just shopped the whole time. Plus they had a nice swimming pool with a swim up bar right in the middle of the shopping center. I bought some cheap rum, a t-shirt, cuban cigar, and a really nice hammock.
tThe cruise ship was really nice and the entertainment was outstanding. Me and Erin went on a cruise two years ago with her parents and this ship was pretty much the same layout as that ship. I played a lot of blackjack, almost everynight. Overall, I came out ahead about $100, and I got to meet and talk to a lot of people while playing. One thing that kind of annoyed me was all of the kids on the cruise. It seemed like this cruise had a lot more kids then all the other ones i went on.
